  10. Well, I finally got my PPP connection going.  Thanks for all the 
  11. suggestions guys (turned out I didn't have a delay at the end of
  12. my dialscript).

  14. I have been using AWeb for browsing so far, which seems pretty     
  15. fast and reasonably stable.  However, I would like to give iBrowse
  16. a try.

  18. So far I haven't had too much luck.

  20. I have set everything up similarly to AWeb (I have checked        
  21. everything several times), but no matter what I change, I always
  22. finf iBrowse is very slow loading.

  24. It takes it several seconds to contact the proxy (AWeb does this
  25. virtually instantaneously), and it takes a very long time to get
  26. a reply from foreign hosts (tests with AWeb ensures that the pages
  27. in question are accessible, and load very quickly).  Sometimes,
  28. after a reply, it waits for a minute or so before receiving the        
  29. actual page data.

  31. Also, I have only been able to contact the sites in the hotlist,
  32. anything else just times out.
